Manuel Cangemi

Manuel Cangemi is the Director of Operations of DEAS. From 2019 to 2023, he served as the CISO in the Intelligence division of Lutech, and from 2009 to 2018, he was the COO of MOVIA SpA. With over 15 years of experience, he has led Cyber Warfare and Intelligence operations within government sectors.

Having grown up in the telematic underground of the 90s, he was one of the leading figures of one of Europe's first hacklabs. Despite being a deeply technical person, his approach to IT doctrines is more instinctive and practical than theoretical. He applies hacking to both reality and cyberspace, and he doesn't believe in technology for technology's sake. Instead, he has always viewed it as a tool for collective growth—to acquire knowledge, gather information, break boundaries, conquer, and defend the most critical objectives.
